FAQ's

  1. What is "GlamisTrips.com" all about?

Glamis Trips.com is about one thing: Riding! We all love to do it and if you haven't experienced Glamis yet, then your missing out. I went the first time in 2002 and have been going 1 - 2 times a year since. We have weeded out all the hard to find places and cut the unnecessary expenses out.  We have developed a simple and affordable trip to the best dunes this country has to offer.
  2.
  3. Where is the Imperial Sand Dunes aka Glamis?

Glamis California is a part of the Alogondes Sand Dunes in South-East California on the border of Mexico and Arizona.  Glamis offers over 118,000 acres of open OHV use.

  4. What is the riding like?

99% is sand hills and "sand highways". The tallest dunes are over 400 feet from the base. Rear paddle tires are a definite plus. To sum up the whole experience in one word: "AMAZING!!!"

  5. How much will it cost for transportation?

Transportation fees depend on the total amount of people that go. If we have less then 20 people it will cost around $675 a machine. If we book more then 25 people it will cost around $575 a machine.

  6. How much will this trip cost total per person?

Besides the transport fees, these are estimations of the expenses a rider should be prepared for.  While these prices may not be 100% accurate, they reflect over seven years of experience. This is an estimate only and based per person:

Yes of course. But, no 2 up riding is allowed at Glamis unless on a 2 up machine. This is a diverse crowd of riders who welcome anyone and everyone to come along for a trip that they will likely never forget.

  8. How Much Luggage or Gear Can I bring with the Machine being shipped?

Included with shipping of your machine, there is enough room to take (2) 33gal. Sized Rubbermaid Tubs, 2 Gas Cans and Large Gear Bag. If there is additional room at the end we will be able to fit more gear but DO NOT depend on the extra space.
